Job Description

Hours: 35 hours per weekSalary: Plus £846 annual car allowanceWhat will your role beAs a member of the Income Enforcement Team you’ll play a key role in the delivery of a comprehensive, professional and customer-focused income collection service direct to current and former SLH customers. You will ensure customer accounts are well managed; engaging with customers to ensure understanding of their responsibilities to pay their rent on time and regularly, helping them make informed choices and signposting where further support is required. You will build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners, and look at how we can collaborate with others to help customers remain in their home wherever possible, you will represent the organisation escalating cases through to court attendance where this might not be possible.What skills and experience will you haveThe successful candidate will have a good standard of secondary education (including English and Maths GCSE) and hold a CIH Level 3 in Housing Practice. You will have proven experience of relevant enforcement options and their application within a social housing setting.
