ICT Technician Are you an experienced ICT Technician looking for a fulfilling role in the education sector We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dynamic team at an Ofsted rated "Good" secondary school located in West Derby, Liverpool. Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff and students in utilising ICT equipment and resources.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure the smooth operation of ICT systems.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of ICT equipment, including computers, printers, and audio-visual devices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement and support ICT initiatives aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with school ICT policies and procedures to maintain a secure and efficient ICT environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications in ICT support.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide support to staff and students in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of educational ICT systems and tools is advantageous.
