Service Engineer / Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic Engineer required to join a leading supplier of Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment.The Successful Service Engineer / Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on various industrial hydraulic systems in the workshop and at customer sites across the North West of the UK.The Service Engineer / Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic Engineer will ideally have an engineering background in hydraulics, valves, hoses, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, capital equipment or similar electro mechanical / hydraulic related products.Package£30,000 - £35,00020 days + Bank holidaysCompany pensionOvertimeAdditional benefitsService Engineer / Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic EngineerRoleTo provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of industrial hydraulic equipment at customer sites.The Hydraulic Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of hydraulic systems, such as valves, hoses, pipework systems, air tools, manifolds, controls, and more.Maintain, repair and install equipment in the workshop near Liverpool and at customer sites across the North West of the UK.Installing hydraulic products into all forms of the manufacturing industry.Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various hydraulic equipment.Liaise with various engineering departments.Service Engineer / Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic Engineer RequirementsProven diagnostic skills on complicated hydraulic systems.Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer , Service Technician, Installation Engineer, Hydraulic Engineer , Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, Electro Mechanical Engineer or similar.Assist in the workshop being involved in the strip-down, inspection and reporting and re-build of hydraulic repairs when required.Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.Engineering background in hydraulics, valves, hoses, pumps, pump systems, motors, rotating equipment, hydraulics, capital equipment or similar electromechanical / hydraulic related products. Full product training provided.An engineering qualification would be advantageous.Willingness to commute to the Liverpool area and travel across the North West of the UK when required.Be prepared to stay the occasional night away when the work requires.
