HR Officer6 month FTCLiverpool£26,800 Pro RataA new opportunity to join a highly recognised organisation in the city and it could be just what you are looking for if you are a CIPD qualified HR professional who is immediately available as this role can start as soon as you can!Supporting the HR Operations team the HR Manager and HR Business Partners in the provision of an effective generalist HR service. To provide HR advice to Asst Directors/Heads of Service, Mangers & employees regarding People Policies and terms of conditionsof employment to ensure a consistent approach is applied across the Organisation. Co-ordination of Recruitment & Selection activities, ensuring recruitment processes are relevant and proportionate to the post whilst complying with employment law Ensuring all required employment checks are carried out, including DBS checks, where necessary and required recording is in line with GDPR regulations from offer of employment through to commencement of employment. Completion and overseeing of contractual documentation including appointment letters, contracts of employment, variation to contracts and any other employment related contractual document is processed To assist HR Business Partners with employee relations cases, this will include handling of sensitive cases whilst having due regard to both internal policy, good practice and fairness in terms of observing relevant legislation. To support with attendance at work issues ensuring absenteeism is managed effectively by providing advice and support to Line Managers. This will include dealing with employee related cases, analysing absence data, attending associated meetings, dealingwith referrals to occupational health and advising on reasonable adjustments. To assist with the preparation and presentation of relevant data analytics which will support an activity or work streams as requested. Providing support and advice to Assistant Directors/Heads of Service/Managers on a range of terms & conditions of employment, people policies ensuring a consistent level of approach.To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate some of the below experience and qualifications: Qualified to Level 5 Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development or as a minimum have attained Level 3 with experience of the key elements of this post and are currently studying for or are actively pursuing an interest in studying for Level 5 Evidence and commitment to continuous personal and professional development At least 12 months experience working in a HR role Experience of co-ordinating an end to end Recruitment & Selection provision to an Organisation Experience of drafting contractual HR related documentation Knowledge of or experiences of employee relations case management Experience of assisting with employee cases, Good knowledge of HR best practices and appreciation of best practice, current & proposed employment legislation Evidence of good communication skills in order to provide a dedicated, professional HR advice service to the Organisation Knowledge of GDPR and ensuring compliance in all HR related practices Project focused approach to all tasks and activities in order to deliver on key prioritisesFor immediate impact apply online now!
