Iam currently working with a well established Liverpool law firm who are looking to recruit a Senior Housing disrepair Solicitor to join their amazing team of fee earners.The candidate must have at least 3 years experience running a case load, with Part 7 litigation experience and a proven track record of meeting billing targets.The ideal candidate will have the following:Solid experience of dealing with HDR Claims, specifically litigated casesHave a strong billing historybe able to proactively assist with the development of the department, to include developing and identifying sources of workResponsibilities:Document checking/vetting claimsliaising with clients/Defendants and Third PartiesDrafting letters of claim, Pre action applications and advice letters to clientsCalculating damagesDrafting proceedings including but not limited to Particulars of Claim, replies to defences, witness statements and trial bundlesExperience of cost budgeting would be beneficial but not essentialWorking to deadlinesRunning a case load of 50% litigated casesAdvocacy experience would be beneficialProviding a high level of client serviceLiaising and maintaining relationships with external stakeholdersExperience Requirements:3 Years+ experience of running Housing Disrepair casesExperience of running litigated caseload is essentialExperience of proclaim preferredThis an exciting opportunity and a chance to be part of our fast paced and dynamic firm.Benefits:An attractive package of OTE £60K p/a is on offer for the right candidateBonus schemeCompany pensionOn site parking
