Their Housing Disrepair team specialises in advocating for tenants rights and ensuring thatindividuals receive fair compensation for housing-related issues.Role Overview:As a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of housing disrepair cases from inception through to settlement or litigation.Your responsibilities will include:- Conducting detailed assessments of housing disrepair cases and advising clients on potential claims.- Managing both pre-litigation and litigation aspects of cases, preparing legal documentation, and representing clients in court when necessary.- Negotiating settlements with opposing parties and pursuing claims through various stages of litigation.- Providing exceptional client care, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases, and offering timely updates and advice.- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the highest level of service delivery and client satisfaction.Requirements:To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:- Proven experience as a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner, handling a variety of pre-litigation and litigation cases.- Strong understanding of housing disrepair regulations, legislation, and case law.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and explain legal concepts clearly.- Detail-oriented approach and strong organizational skills to manage a diverse caseload effectively.- Proficiency in using legal case management software and tools.- Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.What The Firm Offers:In addition to a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, the firm provides a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
