Job Description

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are working with property organisation based in Merseyside in order to recruit a Head of Treasury and Business Planning. The company are known in the local area as a particularly good employer, and are looking for someone with strong planning experience to utilise their expertise for whatever the organisation may face in the near future. They offer a fantastic benefits package and a competitive salary.Role:Working closely with the assistant director of finance and resources, you will be responsible for running the treasury and business planning division.Duties:

  • Managing a team of qualified and non-qualified treasury specialists
  • Developing treasury policies and procedures delivering cash flow forecasting and a treasury risk management control environment
  • Leading the organisations long term financial planning and conducting sensitivity analysis and stress testing
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with funders, investors, regulators and other external stakeholders including HMRC
  • Leading on cashflow forecast
  • Leading the organisation’s treasury and tax functions ensuring that investment, funding and treasury activity and reported and maintained
  • Developing solutions for potential planning and treasury issues
    • Person:The successful candidate:
  • Fully qualified accountant (CCAB) with post qualification experience
  • Working knowledge of Brixx business planning would be beneficial
  • Managed a team
  • Has the gravitas to work with external funders and members of the board
  • Experience with Open accounts is preferred but not essential
