Our vision is to create a world where insurance is personal, inclusive and a force for good.Last year the Group announced a brand new partnership with Motability Operations to provide insurance to the Motability Scheme, supporting its more than 650,000 customers.We now have an exciting opportunity to join the team in Liverpool to be part of Direct Line Motability as Head of Business Intelligence on a full time, permanent basis.The role:You will lead relationships and manage the delivery of the Business Intelligence Unit where you will provide the insight from data that inputs to the operational plans.You and your team will shape, collate, analyse, challenge, validate and present management information to the business that will help to create challenging business goals, maximise our performance and inform decision-making throughout the planning and performancecycle.What youll be doing:

  • Build and maintain a relationship with corporate clients, ensuring that their needs and requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner
  • Lead and co-ordinate the development and delivery of MI packs for internal business customers, executive team and corporate client
  • Identify and highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) to track our performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Perform in-depth analysis of complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that increase business growth and optimization
  • Engage with the senior leadership team / business director to ensure they are informed and aware of the performance position before quarterly meetings with all partners
  • Contribute to the implementation of business development initiatives
  • Plan and manage unit business operations and resourcing in line with business requirements

  • Ability to work with the business to understand and interpret the practical business implications of financial data
  • Ability to anticipate business performance issues / opportunities and recommend appropriate action
  • Ability to build relationships across all areas of the organization and coordinate seamless delivery of all requirements
  • Ability to understand the links between business activities and business performance, challenge constructively, give early warning of performance issues and recommend remedial action and/or ways to maximize business performance
