Head of Fibre Build (FTTP) Location - Liverpool with flexibility to work from home. Permanent, salary and package in the region of £80,000 plus benefitsThis is a new position its a role that will build the model and define the strategy that will then drive the build and ongoing expansion for a full fibre network build programme. The programme will be a mixture of own network build and PIA, so the HOD willput plans in place to ensure compliance with Openreach Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) requirements and youll be point of contact for 3rd party liaison and communications with design and build partners. Management wise, youll sit above deployment Project & Delivery Managers, Supervisors, Designers and a Team of Engineers.Youll be a known name in the industry and FTTP network construction background would be essential. This is a great chance to be in the business from the early days. and play your part in what growth of the network looks like. Youll build the team that supports the delivery of the build plans and reporting to the COO, will be responsible for the performanceand methods of the build and FTTP connection teams and all associated partners. Your backgroundThe reality is you need to be from that senior level telecoms network build environment and that also means FTTP with in depth knowledge of PIA and also the NEC form of contract. Good understanding of Design, Civils and Fibre specifications and industry standards including NRSWA, HAUC, OFCOM etc.Role will be North West bias, and programme areas are National. Start is ASAP.
