Job Title: Interim Group Financial AccountantDaily Rate: c£400 Umbrella Location: Knowsley & home working (Hybrid)Contract: 6 months Advantage Resourcing are working closely with a leading global organisation looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to join thier team.The Role:Conversion to IFRS reporting standardsPost acquisition integration of new businessesCompletion accounts and opening balance sheetsPreparing group consolidated accountsOwnership of technical reporting, including liaison with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring financial integrity of the statutory accountsFinancial reporting to be presented at Board levelReview of balance sheet reconciliations and support and implement process improvementLead on the annual audit, being the main point of contact between the auditors and the finance teamIdeal skill sets needed for this role:Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA or CIMA) or similarWorking in financial controls role in a group functionHighly proficient in preparing internal and external auditsUp to date working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRSAbility to work autonomouslyExcellent communication skills and IT systems knowledge and experience - Advanced in ExcelIf you have the relevant skill set and experience for this role, please send your CV for immediate consideration.
