My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Water Quality, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for a Graduate Water Quality Consultant to join a friendly and supportive team in Liverpool. You willbe based from home and cover sites across the North West and North Wales.Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geography or Environmental Management have a keen interest in Water Quality, Hydrology, Pollution and Environmental Compliance.It is beneficial for applicants to have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority collecting samples for lab analysis, identifying macro-invertebrates and using GIS for Mapping.It is essential for candidates to have a valid driving licence as the role will involve frequent site work using a Company Vehicle.This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team based across the North West to complete Water Quality Projects across the North West for Water Companies. This role will involve occasional weekend work.You will be trained to complete the following;-Attending site visits to investigate pollution incidents across the North West including Merseyside, Cumbria and Greater Manchester using a Company Vehicle (small van).-Water Quality Measurements and Sampling.-Field based monitoring and collect samples for lab analysis.-Technical report writing in response to water pollution incidents.This role offers a competitive salary, rota shift pattern, company benefits and career progression.
