Avanti recruitment are currently working with a leading FinTech company in the City of London to recruit a Junior-Midlevel Software Support Engineer. You will be working with a disruptive open banking technology platform.You will be working alongside some very smart developers who come from top tier companies such as Google, Apple and Microsoft.You will be working in a fast past start up environment, your day to day responsibilities will include working on Tickets, providing support to the Software Engineering team as well as clients, you will be working on troubleshooting problems clients are having. You will be confident and have developer knowledge/experience. You will need to understand the company’s product and will also help with integration into banks. You will work closely with the development team as well as client services, you will have the opportunity to grow into a full developer position but need to understand the importance of support. You will carry out this role for at least 12-24months. The company can also offer support with training, most of which will be done in real time on the job training but they are happy to put people through courses to develop and improve their skills.
