Job Description

Global Site ManagerLocation: UK (remote)A research-driven global biopharmaceutical company is looking to recruit a Global Site Manager due to recent growth. They are focused on discovering, creating, and supplying drugs within their therapeutic expertise including oncology, immunology and virology.The purpose of the role will be to provide leadership and expertise for the clinical site management activities. The post holder will be solely responsible for the global study-level deliverables. They will also act as a functional leader for the study teamsand direct day-to-day activities.Key responsibilities:

  • Developing and driving operational study-level strategies to be executed by clinical country level teams
  • Representing the team globally across the full life cycle of the studies
  • Actively contributing to planning and execution of the clinical programs
  • Providing input into vendor selection and content of site-facing vendor platforms
  • Working with stakeholders to develop study plans for the deliverables and dependencies
  • Driving site management activities from start-up through to closeout
  • Carrying out site-level risk assessments, risk mitigation execution, and remediation of site-level non-compliance
  • Developing study monitoring plans and delivering related training
  • Proving input into day-to-day activities
  • Participating in the vendor selection process and managing clinical site management vendors
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience within clinical research at a global level including monitoring experience
  • Full life cycle exposure across a range of therapy areas
  • Vendor management experience
