Job Description

Page Personnel are working hand in hand with this reputable financial services business to recruit for a Fund Accounting Oversight Executive.This role is based in their busy Liverpool city centre office and will offer hybrid working.Client DetailsThis reputable business has over 100 years experience in being market leaders in what they do! With over 1,000 employees you will certainly be joininga friendly organisation with a massive scope for progression.DescriptionThis Fund Accounting Oversight Executive role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Assist in the management of HSBC FA to ensure issues are resolved and preventative measures implemented.
  • Attend monthly calls with HSBC to monitor KPIs and continually develop working relationships with their relationship managers and wider teams.
  • Ensure TPA SLAs are robust and up to date.
  • Ensure TPA contracts are stored in a central location.
  • Prepare reports for quarterly meetings of the Outsourcing Governance Committee and Fair Value Pricing Committee.
  • Attend the Fair Value Pricing Committee and provide minutes.
  • Attend industry seminars and user groups to keep up to date with regulations and other industry developments.
  • Work with the Head of Fund Accounting to develop a network of peers within the industry.
  • Conduct due diligence during visits to HSBC Edinburgh and HSBC Luxembourg.
  • Maintain a robust monitoring schedule.
  • Understand and document the operational resilience of HSBC, in line with FCA guidance.
  • Ensure oversight work is evidenced to allow regulatory checks.
  • Be aware of FCA and CSSF regulations and ensure changes are reflected in the teams oversight.
  • Assist in the preparation of the reports and accounts for regulated funds to ensure they are published in the permitted timeframe.
  • Calculate the synthetic OCF semi-annually.
  • Liaise with external auditors.
  • Attend project calls and assist the Fund Accounting Oversight Manager with maintaining project documentation.
  • Prepare minutes for committees and project meetings as required.
ProfileThe successful Fund Accounting Oversight Executive will require the following:
  • Previous experience within the fund industry
  • Previous experience withing financial services
  • Strong excel skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Great organisation skills
  • Flexible approach
  • Self motivated
  • Pristine telephone manner
  • Ability to work alone and part of a team
