Functional Test EngineerAn exciting opportunity to join a global company, which provides; test fixtures, test software, test systems, service and support to electronic manufacturers worldwide, across the telecommunications, automotive, avionics, medical, computer and consumer goods industries.We are looking for functional test engineers of varying levels of experience.This role requires someone who is able to work to deadlines and has the ability to use their own initiative.Position PermanentHours 37.5 Hours per week;Monday to Thursday 0830 - 1700 Friday 0830 - 1430Salary TBC - Dependent on experienceJob SpecificationYou will:Report to the Functional Test ManagerHave responsibility for software of functional projectsDesign & develop functional test solutions using NI Lab View and TestStandInstall completed solutions on the customer’s siteThe ideal candidate will have:HNC / HND or degree in electronics engineeringGood communication skillsExcellent attention to detailThe ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlinesThe ability to work independently and efficientlyA good understanding of ElectronicsProgramming experienceExperience of NI Lab View & TestStandExperience of functional test techniquesBe self-motivatedAwareness of company health and safety requirementsJob Types: Part-time, PermanentSalary: £18,000.00 to £28,000.00 /yearInterested Please apply Required skills
