Summary Our client are an international business who provide traffic enforcement and management solutions that are used by many UK Local Authorities and Private Sector clients. Their intelligent and versatile systems offer fully automated end-to-end notice processingin-line with statutory legislation requirements. Their range of solutions includes innovative modules that enable clients to fully manage every aspect of their traffic and parking operations. About the role We are looking for a Full Stack software Developer with strong skills in ASP.Net, C#, and JavaScript. The successful candidate will work as part of a cross functional team to deliver new software for clients, on time and to specification.The role will suit a multi skilled Software Developer who can work on all levels of n-tier architecture from presentation, business logic through to the data access layer.The role involves continued development and maintenance of commercial products including line of business web applications and public facing web applications. The products have numerous 3rd part interfaces of various types including web services, web APIs,and batch processing.Responsibilities:

• Plan technical solutions to client problems or needs.
• Develop and document functioning REST APIs to service frontend applications.
• Integrate with third party APIs.
• Maintain existing project code for a variety of projects.
• Implement new and improved functionality as per the product/s backlog schedule.
• Work as part of a development team with co-located and remote colleagues.
• Assist test analysts with understanding of changes and new features.
• Help Improve the software development process introducing new improved practices.
• Deliver work items on time and on budget that fully meet a customers requirements.
• Consistently apply programming standards and techniques to assure SOLID principles.
• Mentor junior members of the development team.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong ASP.Net skills
• Strong C# skills
• Strong JavaScript skills
• Ability to work with SQL Server and Azure SQL.
• Ability to work with Azure PaaS
• Ability to work with Git / Bitbucket
• An understanding of agile software development
• Android App development in Java would be advantages.

About You:

• Strong organisation skills and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.
• Ability to work on greenfield projects and picking up, enhancing, and maintaining existing products.
• Ability and desire to learn new programming languages and frameworks as required.
• Proven track record in the development of n-tier line of business applications. Involving systems integration with 3rd Parties.
• Solid understanding of software development languages, patterns and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of software development practises and continual improvement.
• Understanding of Azure PaaS architectures and development.

The ideal candidate would have a computer science degree or equivalent. We are looking for a minimum of 4 years of software development experience. Key Skills:

• Windows IaaS and Azure PaaS development.
• ASP.NET, ASP.MVC, T-SQL, SQL Server and Azure SQL, .Net Framework, Telerik controls (ASP.NET Ajax, Kendo UI), Visual Studio 2017 upwards.
• Systems Integration including batch processing, SDKs, Web Services and Web APIs.
• Software Development Process: JIRA, BitBucket (GIT), Bamboo (CIS), Agile development, Azure DEVOPS.
• Android application development using Android Studio and Java.
