Job Description

Front End Developer Hybrid OR Remote - North West of EnglandHTML, CSS, CSS Frameworks, Tailwind, JavaScript, TypeScript (React), Node JS, AWS.Head Office location - Liverpool, Merseyside.Salary - up to £45k (dep on exp) + BenefitsAs part of the exciting expansion of its existing in-house Digital Team, this well-known and highly regarded privately owned business is looking for an experienced, quality driven Front End Developer to join their business, remotely / hybrid working from their Head Office just outside Liverpool, Merseyside.This is a Hybrid / Remote role, but does require the successful candidate to reside within a reasonable commutable distance for office meetings a couple of times each month.ObjectiveReporting to the Head of Digital,our clients Front End Developers work alongside their UX, Back-End Developers, and Product Teams to build the "best experience" for their customers and staff.In this capacity, a Front End Developer will build rich, engaging and responsive applications using "best in class" modern technologies, and cutting edge technologies at huge scale.Main role responsibilitiesTo build customer and staff facing applications youre proud of, pass these on to QA, and then fix any bugs. Role includes but limited to:

  • Client-side development.
  • Test applications for usability.
  • Ensure browser compatibility.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and practices.
The ideal candidate to have the following:
  • At least 3 years+ relevant commercial Front End Development experience.
  • A proven ability to build applications for broad consumer audiences.
  • A demonstrable portfolio of your own work.
Technical experience with some of the following:
  • HTML / CSS / SASS / CSS Frameworks (e.g. Tailwind) - training provided where required.
  • JavaScript / TypeScript / Frameworks (e.g. React).
  • Node JS based tooling (e.g. Webpack.
  • Experience of cloud solutions (e.g. AWS).
  • A solid testing etiquette.
  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills and a real can do attitude.
