I am currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant in Liverpool City Centre for one of the North Wests fastest growing companies.Reporting into the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be involved in preparing and reviewing of financial information for the group. This will include gathering data for external teams, liaising with external auditors and reviewing the monthlyaccounts.Excellent role for anyone who has recently qualified ACA and wants to put their skills into practice!Key responsibilities would include:*Assisting with preparing quarterly Group VAT returns and budget and forecast models*Preparing initial drafts of group consolidations*Producing statutory accounts for group entities, including posting of year end journals which are then reviewed by the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant and Group Financial Controller*Reviewing monthly accounts and preparing data for reporting requirements*Preparing of quarterly consolidated cash flows and liaising with the external audit team*Supporting on ad-hoc duties for the wider Finance team*Business partnering with operational departmentsQualifications & Experience*This role is ideally for a Newly-Qualified Accountant with audit experience*Experience in a Financial Services environment with understanding of UK reporting standards*Strong Excel and communication skillsFor more information on this position, or any other finance roles, please contact Charlotte Manuel at Robert Walters onRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
