A business that has beendescribed as home by existing employees, we drive a culture that is founded on positive change and development.The OpportunityDue to continued growth we have an opportunity for a Financial Crime Manager with broad experience to join the business in a specialist second line role; ensuring that Diligenta as a regulated entity, and in its operation as an outsource provider, has appropriatesystems and controls in place to mitigate the risk of financial crime (including money laundering).Youll be:

• Providing input into the production and delivery of the Annual FCU Plans setting out the proposed activity for the forthcoming year (e.g. recommendations of content, drafting and agreement with peers,of documentation for approval).
• Managing a small team of financial crime specialists
• Developing business as usual relationships with Diligenta s clients.
• Managing of relationships with law enforcement agencies & Local Authorities
• Operating as a Subject matter expert, provide training and QA to Financial Crime Unit staff and act as referral point for queries.
• Provision of input (e.g. drafting content, recommending changes) to design and review of Financial Crime related policies, training and guides and development of the anti-financial crime culture within Diligenta.
• Ensuring that financial crime related procedures are in place and followed.
• Ensuring that appropriate transaction monitoring is conducted.
• Supporting Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance on Financial Crime matters.
• Representing Diligenta at industry forums and committees.

You should apply if you have:

• Understanding of anti-financial crime and counter terrorism legislation. (JMLSG, FCA, POCA, FATF, MLR 17 etc).
• Working knowledge of life and pension financial products and systems.
• ICA qualifications in Financial Crime or equivalent would be beneficial
• Strong analytical and influencing skills.
• Experience of Audit or investigation techniques.
• Proven relationship building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and be flexible in relation to workload and its prioritisation
• High levels of discretion and personal integrity when handling sensitive information and situations
• Able to provide pragmatic solutions which consider the needs of the business and those required by regulations.
• Able to communicate complex regulatory and legislative requirements to staff at all levels of the business
