Job Description

Role - Financial Controller -High Growth Client AccountsLiverpool City CentreSalary £45-50k Dependent on Qualification and Experience plus excellent Company BenefitsConsultants; Karen Reynolds & Andrew SchofieldWe are working with our prestigious client to fill a strategic role in a rapidly evolving organization expanding its operation within Liverpool City Centre to recruit a Financial Controller working across a range of Client Accounts.This is a key appointment in the business where you will be responsible for managing a Team of Management Accountants across range of entrepreneurial Clients.Our Client works with high growth and entrepreneurial Accounts - you will act as a "borrowed" Financial Controller to help the businesses grow (this isnt you day to day "Compliance" based role)! We are looking for an individual who can advise Clients to help the Businesses grow (they currently work with some of the leading entrepreneurs across the North West).You can expect to:

  • Work with the Director for the High Growth client base within the management accounts Team
  • Manage a Team of Management Accountants including all day to day activities
  • Be responsible for providing the very highest levels of Client servicing
  • Prepare and report on High Growth clients’ Commercial, Financial, and Accounting - you will be advising on how businesses can grow!
  • Build and strengthen strong Client relationships
  • Act as the Finance Director / Controller for several different exciting high growth companies- this includes sitting down at Board meetings
    • You should be able to bring to the business as a Client Accountant:
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Accounting software use and administration skills
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA or QBE
