Job Description

Adele Carr Financial Recruitment have been requested to support the recruitment requirements of a prestigious organisation in Liverpool who are keen to appoint a Financial Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.This is a tremendous opportunity for a first / second time mover who is fully ACA / ACCCA qualified.Supporting a receptive Financial Controller, you will take a keen hand in producing accurate reports for senior management / board level.You will be a confident, ambitious, practice trained individual with an impressive, broad understanding of financial reporting, tax and audit.Responsibilities and tasks include;

  • The completion of accurate financial information to deadlines including providing weekly forecast, monthly overhead reports, quarterly submissions and annual forecasts/budgets
  • Co-ordinating regular meetings with various cost centre managers/Directors
  • Ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are completed within agreed time-scales
  • Accountable for all aspects of the monthly UK Intrastat, quarterly EC Sales and liasing with third parties / auditors / HMRC
  • Managing key controls and/or participating in the improvement of internal controls for financial reporting
    • The ideal candidate will be;
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Practice trained and possessing ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification (finalist level would be considered)
  • Familiar with Financial accounting across a large organisation
  • Confident in their ability to work with key stakeholders and present accurate, accounts packs for board
