Job Description

We are seeking a skilled, experienced Financial Accountant to join our global pharmaceutical business. Based in Liverpool, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of three businesses, ensuring compliance with International FinancialReporting Standards and relevant legislation.   • Handle recurring and standard manual journals, intercompany entries, and topside Finance Core journals.
  • Manage accruals and reclassification entries without requiring discussion with cost center owners.
  • Perform reconciliations, including Clarity for CAPEX, IC/IG sales, and COGS confirmations.
  • Identify and resolve reconciliation issues within various ERP systems
  • Process allocations, including R&D cost allocation, payroll costs, and WBS elements based on monthly timesheets and reconciliation with HR.
  • Maintain and report on prepaid balance amounts.
  • Provide support in preparing entity budgets and forecasts, including Profit & Loss, Balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
  • Prepare and load data from the budgeting & planning tool to the consolidation system for all legal entities.
  • Consolidate group-level budget & forecast, including balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Process manual settlements in SAP.
  • Complete IFRS adjustment calculations and share them with Controlling & Reporting for review.
  • Support internal and external audit requests, including providing documentation of AP invoices to auditors.

  • Capable of working under pressure and managing a diverse workload. Also, ability to manage remotely given the geographic coverage of the role.
