Job Description

This role will report directly into the MD and look after a small team. You will be a key part of the senior leadership team so it is essential you are confident liaising with senior stakeholders, and can bring your own ideas & initiative.Client DetailsMy client are an SME utilities business and have experienced continued growth. You will be working within a small, close knit team & able to really add value to the business.Description

  • Management of the Finance Team including coaching, mentoring and developing individuals
  • Preparation of management accounts and managing key performance indicators
  • Preparation of year end accounts for submission to external accountant/auditors
  • Management and control of cash flow
  • Management of company budgets and forecasts
  • Analysis and presentation of financial data to Senior Management Team
  • Management of monthly payroll, pensions and taxes
  • Preparation and filing of quarterly UK VAT return for the group
  • Management and delivery of Key client financial reports
  • Management of Companies House accounts and Statutory reporting
  • Management of Company bank account
Profile
  • Experience working within a small, close knit team or within a larger business but looking to move into a smaller, more hands on role
  • Qualified or QBE accountant
  • Happy working as part of the senior leadership team, and confidence liaising at this level
  • Experience managing a small team
Job Offer
  • Salary up to £60,000
  • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • 35 hour working week
  • Ideally this role will be 100% office based, however there is some flexibility to work from home when required
