Job Description

EYFS / KS1 Teaching Assistant – Part –time – L14 areaStart Date: ASAPPay Rate: £40.00 per dayHours: 16 hours – Monday – Friday – 8.30-12.30amWe’re partnering with an ‘Good’ Primary school in the Liverpool area, looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.The post is part-time, every day in the morning only and is a long term postYou will be working in an EYFS/KS1 class, supporting the class Teacher with providing engaging lesson and you will be responsible for taking small groups of pupils for phonics session and any core subjects to help with the developementThe school is a 2 form-entry school and you will be working with an experienced supportive Team.Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be working in a EYFS class and working with pupils in small groups and 1-2-1 basiss with Phonics, reading, writing sessions
  • Support the class teacher,ensuring the pupils have a creative, fun learning environment and help enhance their learning and development
    • Required Skills & Experience:
  • You must have previous Teaching Assistant experience supporting in an EYFS/KS1 setting in the last 12 months
  • Previous experience supporting pupils in small groups with Phonics, reading or similar
  • If you have completed a CACHE qualification or have completed any volunteering Teaching Assistants posts, this may be a great opportunity and you must have at least 3 months school based experience in a UK Primary School setting
    • PLEASE NOTE– candidates without a qualification but withextensiveexperience (paid or voluntary) are also welcome to apply, but you must be able to evidence a full class based role and provide examples of TA level responsibilities you have held.The Milk Difference:We are an environmentally-friendly education supply agency providing quality talent to local schools across the North West.
