Job Description

Export CoordinatorLiverpool City Centre£25,000 - £30,000MondayFriday, 9:00am5:30pmAn exciting role has arisen with a global leading Freight Forwarder, for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join a growing teamThe Candidate;

  • Experience of working as a Freight Forwarder
  • Customs entry and clearance experience is essential
  • Experience of Destin8 and Chief is advantageous
  • Deep sea freight experience is essential
  • Knowledge of European freight forwarding advantageous
  • Up to date knowledge of import and export regulations
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Confident decision making and negotiating
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Must have a flexible approach
  • Be able to work within a developing forward thinking team
Duties and Responsibilities;
  • Ensuring that all clearance processes are completed in a complaint and timely manner.
  • Advising on the documentation necessary for direct import/export, transit movements
  • Creating Paperwork for Deep Sea shipments
  • Utilising your knowledge of customs tariffs, CPC codes and security declarations
  • Liaising with Hauliers, Shipping Lines etc
