Job Description

Executive Assistant / PA / Personal AssistantLiverpoolFull timePermanent£27,272A growth and regeneration group with a strong social purpose, our client works inpartnership with Liverpool City Region and the North West to improve lives and createthriving, vibrant communities through support, investment, development andRegeneration.They own and manage around 40,000 homes in Warrington, St Helens, Liverpool andbeyond, making Torus the regions largest affordable housing provider.Profits generated by group members are reinvested into their charitable arm, a community anchor institution, to fund projects that build social capital and fulfil their mission of growing stronger communities.They are currently seeking an Executive Assistant to provide a comprehensive andproactive support assistant service directly to members of the Group Leadership Team(GLT).The post will be office based in Liverpool with the opportunity of ad-hoc home working inline with business needs.This is an important role in which you will:

  • Proactively manage the GLTs busy diaries, liaising with high profile and senior personnel
  • Provide a professional PA service to the GLT, liaising regularly to ensure all their commitments are planned appropriately
  • Support the GLT by researching information, gathering input from other colleagues and drafting papers/presentations
  • Work independently and as an effective member of the Executive Support Team
  • Ensure delivery of excellent external and internal customer service
  • Provide a first point of contact for telephone and email queries to the GLT
  • Take and produce minutes
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have experience of working within a PA role
  • Have experience of working in a proactive support assistant role in an Executive Support Team
  • Be committed, passionate and self-motivated with the ability to inspire others while delivering a high quality support service
  • Be able to work autonomously while also working as part of a team
  • Have experience of managing change through combining excellent support assistant skills with a calm, inclusive style to deliver continuous improvements
  • Be capable of anticipating reactions to change and new interventions, suggesting pro active responses
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with staff, peers, board members, tenants and external partners
