We are currently recruiting for an Exchequer Services Officer to work for Merseyside Police at their Police Headquarters in Rose Hill Liverpool.This will be a temporary ongoing role working Monday to Friday 36.50 hours a week.PLEASE NOTE DUE TO POLICE VETTING CRITERIA YOU MUST HAVE RESIDED WITHIN THE UK CONTINUOUSLY FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS.Job PurposeTo undertake specialist tasks in connection with creditor payments & the receipt of income, and to provide assistance regarding the pre-payment checking of invoicesT We are looking for someone to contribute to and monitor processes & procedures to maintain effective central payments systems and income recovery on behalf of the Force.
