We are looking for talented Electricians to welcome into our Central Operations team asEstates Team Leaders,tohelp us provide an outstanding service to the students who call US Home.You will be responsible for a small team of electrical specialists, and will support our teams to maintain a well-kept, safe, secure, compliant, and efficient environment across your region. This includes ensuring your team provides an effective plumbingservice quickly and efficiently so that we can provide our students with a world-class and responsive service.We have 3 regions available:

• Scotland (Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh)
• North East of England (Leeds, Sheffield, Durham and Newcastle)
• North West of England(Manchester and Liverpool)

You will be able to:

• Take responsibility for ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety assessments and monitoring, ensuring compliance across the region
• Support the Regional Engineering Manager to build and develop a motivated, engaged, and high-performance team
• Support the training and development of your team members to help them reach their potential
• Take accountability for your team`s performance, actively participating in performance management conversations and personal development plans
• Conduct inspections of all work areas including vehicles and plant rooms to ensure that high standards are maintained
• Be the focal point for expertise in electrical safety across your region

You will lead and motivate your team to:

• Organise and execute LV switching, isolations, earthing, identification of point of works in line with the electrical safety procedure
• Support and contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive electrical safety-training programme
• Provide maintenance for domestic and commercial electrical installations
• Reviewing the electrical installation, and advising managers of improvements

What we`re looking for in you:

• You will be able to confidently lead your team to maintain exceptional customer service
• You will hold relevant electrical qualifications (HNC/HND, ONC/OND, latest edition of BS7671, C&G 2391 or equivalent qualification)
• You will have experience working within electrical roles
• You will communicate effectively, by actively listening, making points logically, and by using appropriate language, tone, and gesture
• You remain calm and focussed, even in difficult or pressurised situations
• You are detail-orientated, nothing escapes your eye
• You understand and respect the diversity of others` cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds

The other stuff:

• You will be working 5 days a week, on 8-hour shifts between 8am and 8pm Monday -Sunday
