We have an exciting opportunity available for an Equipment Control Administrator to join our team in Liverpool. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of a fixed term contract up to 12 months and in return, you will receive a competitive salary + benefits.CMA CGM Group, founded by Jacques R. The group currently employs 110,000people worldwide, including nearly 2,400 in its headquarters in Marseilles.About the role:As the Equipment Control Administrator you will maintain effective control over all aspects of CMA CGM Group containers within Great Britain. Responsibilities will include: To ensure that all container moves within our depots and port terminals are updated within 24 hours of move. To arrange Empty Exec of our containers in the terminal system for Southampton, Felixstowe, Tilbury and Thamesport. To ensure that Empty Equipment is released from our depots in a timely and accurate manner. To ensure that all surplus equipment is off hired to its relevant owner. To ensure that all empty containers in the ports are shipped as a priority to the necessary deficit location in accordance with HO instructions. To liaise with CMA HO in order to coordinate the return of import containers to required areas of demand. To release containers for usage from the most cost effective depot in support of the GB Agency. To prepare Management Information reports as requested by line management. Undertake training as required to be competent to cover for colleagues during periods of absence.Skills & qualifications required of ourEquipment Control Administrator: Previous experience in Equipment Control/ Stock management or similar role desired Previous exposure to ShippingLine operations Experience within the transport industry Good understanding of container transport, depot and terminal operations. Proficient in the use of MS Office applications Knowledge of internal equipment control systems Ability to work under pressure Confident using the phone and contacting customers Minimum GCSE/equivalent Grade C or above in English & MathsIn return we will offer our Equipment Control Administrator:
