Employability and Construction Tutor, FreelanceI am currently recruiting for one of my long-serving Training Providers and as a result of growth in their Pre-Employment division, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Employability and Construction Tutor.The position of Employability and Construction Tutor is on a freelance basis and the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel through the North West as the role will be a blend of both classroom based learning and online delivery.You will receive a Daily rate of £150 for classroom based teaching and £100 a day for online teaching, with a budget for travel expenses and hotel costs where necessary.Key Responsibilities of the Tutor are:To deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners in Construction ProgrammesSupport learners to improve their everyday Maths, English and ICT SkillsDevise flexible and innovative ways to engage individual learnersDraw up agreed action plans with learners, outline the aims of the programme and monitoring their progressActively support, mentor and motivate learners across the learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Contact will be all online and will include delivery sessions through Microsoft Teams and Virtual Learningplatforms.Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learners qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximize their potential.Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.Accurately report daily learner attendance and take responsibility for general health and safety, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection and SafeguardingSkills and Experience Required for the Construction and Employability TutorRecognised Teaching Qualification e.g. Award in Education and Training, PTLLS, Cert EdFunctional Skills L2 in Maths and English or equivalentIt would be highly desirable if the successful candidate holds an Assessor Award such as TAQA, CAVAand a Construction related subject at Level 2 or abovePrevious experience of delivering Distance Learning Programmes through online platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom and Virtual Learning platformsKnowledge and experience of using E- PortfoliosVocational competence or experience delivering Construction programmes to level 2Proven track record in achieving Targets and Quality StandardsIt would be desirable, but not essential if the successful candidates have experience working with NEET learnerThis position is subject to a satisfactory DBS and referencesFor further information please contact Pertemps Work Based Learning and Skills division on ---------------------------------
