Job Description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and flexible Diabetic Eye Screening Lead to support the Programme Manager and act as Team Leader within the North Mersey Diabetic Eye Screening Service.Previous experience in retinal screening & grading is essential with an interest and preferably experience in management or acting as team leader desirable. The post holder will need to act as a key point of contact for the wider diabetic eye screening team providing clinical advice, options and support when delivering care to patients on a daily basis.They will work as an autonomous screener/grader, demonstrate a high performance level in grading evidenced through live grading reports or nationally recognised TAT scores, provide retinal screening training and technical support and undertake specific duties as a team leader as agreed with the Programme Manager of Diabetic Eye ScreeningThe successful candidate should have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise their workload and use their initiative.
