Job Description

Our client, a global technology provider, requires an additional person to join their DevOps team. You will be responsible for delivering automation across software deployment, with a focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).Key elements of the role include:

  • Implementation of automation technologies
  • Maintenance and development of Automation / Deployment tooling
  • Maintaining SLAs and delivering improvements to customer satisfaction
  • Mentoring junior team members
    • The successful candidate will likely have most of the following skills and experience:
  • Relevant degree (or equivalent)
  • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, LXC)
  • Apache/Nginx, HA Proxy
  • Configuration Management tools (ideally Chef)
  • Source Repository Management (GIT, SVN, Bitbucket)
  • HashiCorp Stack exposure useful (Consul, Nomad, Vaunt)
  • Coding experience (Java, C++, PHP, Node JS) useful
