Job Description

Page Personnel are working hand in hand with this global financial services business to recruit for a Data Analytics Team Manager to join their busy successful office based in the heart of Liverpool city centre.Client DetailsThis global business is the market leader in their sector, they are in over 100 countries with over 1000 offices.Due to continued growth 2022 is going to be a really exciting year for the business.DescriptionThis role will include but not be limited to the following duties:

  • Manage and supervise a team ensuring effective and efficient performance standards are adhered to and improved upon through a coaching mentality, being responsible for overseeing and reporting on their performance through tailored feedback & coaching
  • Working closely with our other Managers and Team Leads in delivering effective and efficient processes for the Data Analytics team overall, with a particular focus on quality and performance
  • Leading daily huddles from an MI and Team Performance perspective
  • Create and develop MI relating to output of Performance, Identifying areas of improvement within the Team
  • Manage the Data Analytics User Experience Survey and results, acting as a point of assurance for quality output, consistency of reviews, identifying learning & development needs and continuously improving the framework
  • Be a subject matter expert and point of escalation for the overall Data Analytics team
  • Support SBU Leads in the pro-active management and servicing of their regional internal client facing audit teams and professional stakeholder management
  • Work extensively with bespoke Advantage system and processes and all external systems as required
  • Provide support to other colleague teams dependent upon seasonality of core work
ProfileThe successful Data Analytics Team Manager candidate will require the following:
  • Previous line management experience managing people and performance
  • Demonstrable work experience of Data Analytics/BI or Accounts, experience within a financial/professional services background
  • Demonstrable experience of previous mentoring/supervising and coaching through 1-2-1s
  • Well presented with a professional level of communication - both verbal and written
  • Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision
  • Good working knowledge of manipulating large and complex data sets using Qlikview
  • Experience using both TSQL and SQL to manipulate data sets
  • Strong problem solving skills using unique, large and complex data sets
  • Knowledge of coding languages
  • High level of Excel experience
  • Ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders to meet mutually satisfactory outcomes
  • Willingness to learn new systems is essential
