Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customs Clearance Coordinator to work for this expanding logistics / freight forwarding business in Liverpool. With increased workload due to Brexit this is a new position that is integral to the business.In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with Client import and export bookings for road haulage from start to finish.
  • Completing all customs entries on behalf of customers for imports and exports
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed to meet internal, customer and HMRC requirements
  • Ensuring that customer invoices are processed efficiently and effectively
  • Dealing with suppliers within set service levels, query resolution and escalation.
  • Query resolution and raising issues of non-compliance, ensuring remedial action is completed
    • In order to be successful in this role you will have a strong freight forwarding, logistics or shipping background in a customer facing role with good knowledge of customs clearances and the customs process.
