Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for those with good experience in customer service to expand on skills and gain knowledge! This role is a temporary position until the end of March then with the view to turn permanent.The purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service to customers, and be responsible for the processing, scheduling and management of orders. Provide a simply better service to the customers and end users; resolve any customer issues and complaintsin a professional and timely manner to enhance the customer experience and maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction. Handle all telephone calls in a timely and courteous manner.Location: LiverpoolDuration: Temporary until March 2024 then the opportunity to go permanent.Pay: £14 per hourHours: Monday- Friday 8.45am-4.45pm (35 hours)Key responsibilities:

  • Accurately process customer orders within set timescales
  • Manage the scheduling of customer orders within the logistic parameters and stock lead times, and accordance with customer lead times and availability
  • Maintain manual and computerised systems
  • Process all delivery paperwork accurately
  • Deliver outstanding customer service from the point of order to delivery, managing all aspects of customer needs, requirements and requests
  • Project manage more complex deliveries from beginning to end and liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery success
  • Regulate the orders on hold list, contacting end users to resolve any relevant order queries, and conduct the appropriate admin
  • Produce monthly delivery success KPI reports
  • Arrange, manage, monitor and follow-up window and carpet quote requests via sub-contractors
  • Deal with and respond to sales queries and customer requests, referring to the Sales Team where appropriate
  • Carry out responsibilities as described in the Health and Safety Policy
  • Working on Great Plains System is an advantage
Skills and Experience:
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Confident professional telephone manner
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong ability to prioritise based on customer demands and workload
  • Good Listening skills
