Job Description

Swift Placements have a new, exciting opportunity with our specialist client within the Glass Manufacturing industry to join their evolving team as a Customer Service Manager! Our client is looking for the right candidate to work with andsupport the existing customer service team in delivering outstanding services continuously.Job Purpose:Leading a team of customer service representatives to address customer issues relating to deliveries, quality, or service, quickly, calmly and confidently.Supporting our order entry team in efficiently managing their workload according to priority while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Maintaining a professional environment for the team to thrive, solve problems and increase customer satisfaction, leading to an increase in sales.Job Duties:

  • Implements effective processes for customer service representatives to interact efficiently with customers via telephone and email.
  • Provides training on handling of sensitive customer service issues.
  • Constantly reviews processes to ensure they remain both time and cost-effective.
  • Makes regular reports to upper management about department milestones and progress.
  • Holds regular meetings with department staff to discuss expectations and any team concerns.
  • Responsible for department recruitment and retention
  • Manages any staff issues through assessment and subsequent corrective training.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding personnel information and customer financial data by keeping sensitive documents private and secure.
  • Liaises daily with departmental managers to ensure delivery of goods on time and in full, and ensure any delays or issues are communicated to customers promptly.
  • Liaises with departmental managers to ensure quality of products and efficiency of department is maintained.
The Successful Candidate;
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with strong knowledge of the sector (essential)
