Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service Dispensing OpticianDepartment: Customer ServicesReports to: Customer Service ManagerWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 9am - 5pmAim: To be responsible for supporting the Customer Service department. Being the day to day contact for any technical queries that the Sales Order Processors (SOPs) or customers may have. The role is also to support with technical planningand coordinating for the sales and services offered by the business to its customers.Main Duties:

  • Supporting the sales team with product development by providing guidance from a DOs viewpoint
  • Supporting the sales team with product development
  • Dispensing staff orders
  • Providing guidance to the marketing team for new marketing activities
  • Support CS team with telephone orders and enquiries
  • Support CS team orders and customer queries
  • Assist, support and develop team with technical knowledge and advise
  • Make technical decisions to ensure correct product and information is offered to customers and team
  • Liaise with customers to resolve any technical issues
  • Assisting the Customer Service Manager with training and development for the team, including identifying, recommending and implementing areas for individual and team development
  • Provide technical support to BDMs when new customers are brough onboard
  • Assist marketing team with campaign planning from a technical point of view
  • Assist with lens catalogue creation and management
  • Provide support with onboarding of key customers
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role
