Job Description

This is an amazing position to join a leading market logistics company based in Liverpool. You will be required to assist in the processing and acceptance of export bookings.Client DetailsOur client is one on of the largest container companies in the world. Due to a new system being brought in they are looking for a excellent customer service candidate to join them on a 6 month period with possibility of a permanent contract.Description* To endeavour to meet customers requirements by using your knowledge of ONEs products and services, guiding them when necessary, and when a request is not within your remit, directing customers to the responsible party.* Ensuring that you refer to the tools we have at our disposal, such as flip-chart, daily haulage tracker, route sheets, SOPs to ensure bookings are created correctly and in the most cost effective way. This will ensure costly errors are kept to a minimum.* To ensure any costs incurred are recorded and where applicable recovered from the customer.* To ensure you follow the agreed process when distributing and actioning emails from the shared mailbox and keeping the bookings memo-pad updated within OPUS to allow for visibility of actions taken.Profile* Shipping Experience (Liner, Forwarder or Supplier) would be beneficial.* Understanding / experience of IMDG code would be beneficial.* Educational qualifications to GCSE level (ideally English and Maths) at Grade C or above.* Excellent Customer Service Skills with experience of working in a busy office environment.* Excellent written, oral communication skills and organisational skills.* IT literate, Google Sheets, Word, Excel knowledge, good keyboard skills.* High level of attention to detail.* Ability to multitaskJob OfferWHAT WE OFFER* Paid annual leave of 25 days per annum in addition to UK public holidays* Membership of the Companys Group Pension Plan, into which the Company will contribute the equivalent of (minimum) 7% of basic salary.* Annual Eye Test paid for and contribution up to £100 towards glasses for VDU prescriptions* Performance Related Pay* Annual Health check-up - BUPA* Permanent Health Insurance (PHI)* Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)* Private Medical Insurance - BUPA* Employee Discounts* Interest free annual travel season ticket loan* Death in Service Benefit / Life Assurance (x8 annual salary)* Loyalty Award Scheme* Childcare vouchers* Tastecard+* Cycle to Work
