Job Description

Credit Hire Legal AdvisorFast Track Reed Legal are working with one of the UKs leading providers of insurance and legal services who have built a reputation for an ethical approach to personal injury litigation.Their workforce delivers a professional but personable service to their clients, and they have fostered a culture built on this ethos which makes for an enjoyable place to work.To be responsible for dealing with all aspects of litigated and nonlitigated Claimant credit hire claims. These claims may be either small track, fast track or multi track.Duties:

  • Dealing with all aspects of litigated and non - litigated claims involving Road Traffic Accidents and /or any files of a technical nature which you may from time to time be asked to advice on, handle and/or progress
  • Progressing claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR
  • Prioritising urgent schedule entries and dealing with remainder of daily tasks on To Do list
  • Instructing Counsel, to attend conferences, hearings, and CMCs
  • Have relevant experience of having handled claims involving credit hire issues and particularly those in the fast and/or multi track
  • To have a good working knowledge relevant case law and/or legislation
Experience:
  • A good working knowledge of the CPR, case law and legislation
  • A good working knowledge of the law relating to credit hire
  • Experience in handling fast track and multi-track credit hire claims
  • An ability to work in an organised manner
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Solicitor or Filex or handler with similar experience of 5+ years
Salary: £35,000Benefits:
