Job Description

Page Personnel are working in partnership on an amazing Credit Control position for forward thinking construction business. This role is recruiting on a permanent basis in Liverpool. The role will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be suitedfor a hard-working and enthusiastic team player with keen passion for the specialism.Client DetailsThis business are massively established in their market and continue to grow. They are looking for a Credit Controller to join their Liverpool office. The role will be working alongside another Credit Controller managing around 150 live accounts on a multi-millionpound ledger.DescriptionThe Credit Controller duties will be:

  • Set up new customer records, including credit limits
  • Handling major accounts for large retailers and using customer portals
  • Chase allocated customers for outstanding remittances.
  • Reconciling reports
  • Allocation of remittances.
  • Produce weekly debtor cash flow report for allocated customers.
  • Follow up customer disputes and handle disputed accounts and negotiating to bring payment into line with terms.
  • Producing invoices
  • CIS reports
  • Issue customer statements at period end.
  • Manage debtor risk
  • Chasing outstanding payment by telephone, email and occasionally letter
  • Ensure allocated customer accounts are reconciled and any unallocated cash and contra balances are accounted for with action taken as appropriate.
  • Provide sales ledger cover for staff holidays and other absences.
  • Ad-hoc job-related tasks as reasonably assigned by your line manager.
ProfileThe succesful Credit Controller will:
  • Have a Credit Control background
  • Understanding of CIS (desirable)
  • Be confident negotiator, able to interact with customers with a profession yet persuasive approach.
  • Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Be able to work as part of a team to manage deadlines but also work independently
Job OfferThe fantastic benefits on offer include:
