Job Description

REED Accountancy are currently working in partnership with a well established Liverpool based business who are now looking to recruit a Credit Control Managerto join their finance team. This is a stand alone position designed to ensure the business has a healthy cashflow. Reporting into the Operations Manager, the key duties and responsibilities are:

  • Calling and responding directly to clients in debt
  • Completion of regular debt reporting (excellent excel skills essential)
  • Presenting summary reporting
  • Pro-actively implementing process improvements
  • Balancing standard debt collection duties alongside developing the current systems
  • Monitoring debt levels and preparing detailed analysis on status of debt to be reported
  • Resolving queries directly with clients on debt recovery and making quick decisions
  • Pro-actively liaising with other departments across the business
  • Making pro-active recommendations for next actions for review
  • Attending any Court hearings and leading on any relevant legal proceedings
    • Due to the nature of the role, or client is looking for a candidate that is either CICM qualified or is currently studying towards full CICM as well as having 3+ years experience in a similar role.As this role is a stand alone position, our client is looking for candidates with the following:
  • excellent IT skills including advanced MS Excel

  • high attention to detail
  • proven track record with successful debt collecting
