Job Description

Job title: Corporate Actions AdministratorLocation: LiverpoolDuration: 6 months initiallyThe Role:The Departments responsibilities are to ensure accurate and timely event capture, accurate and timely processing of both Dividends and Corporate Events that effect underlying client accounts ensuring that clients stock records are accurately reflected at all times, all market claims are captured and paid in a timely manner, and the timely capture (middle office) of clients elections.Responsibilities:

  • Risk Awareness
  • Responding to client and agent queries relating to files within your book of work
  • Timely escalation of issues
  • All data is captured from our various data providers
  • Controls and procedures are adhered to and ensuring accuracy and deadlines are always met to minimise risk.
  • Ensure prompt turnaround and clearance of client queries to improve client service
  • Collating data of all Asset Service Events, translating into Nexus
  • Prioritisation and Responsibility of own workload
  • Creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
  • Provide support for other team members
  • Reconciling nominee holdings, valuation, and book cost holdings
  • Regular and effective communication with other team members, seniors and other departments internally and externally to enhance awareness of what is happening in our business
  • Any other duties as required.
  • Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Dividends for UK Unit Trust and International markets
  • Understanding of desirable but not essential
  • Use of Bloomberg, IDC and any other GUIs as required
  • Knowledge of tax status for each country
  • Understanding of CREST and market practices
  • Word & Excel competent
  • Attention to detail
  • Awareness of risk
