Job Description

£55,640 + Car Allowance of £6,201Full time / PermanentHybridAbout the Client:Our client is a leading company in the Liverpool City Region, North West, specialising in property maintenance services. They are committed to delivering top-quality responsive maintenance solutions to their customers and client organisations.Job Duties:As a Contract Manager for Responsive Maintenance, you will oversee maintenance contracts, ensuring high-quality service and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving contract performance targets for the Reactive/Responsive Maintenance team.
  • Leading and motivating the operational workforce.
  • Assessing workloads and resource requirements.
  • Managing resources and technology for maintenance activities.
  • Monitoring finances and improving operational efficiency.
  • Managing contract administration and compliance.
  • Mentoring and coaching the team.
  • Leading health and safety practices.
  • Identifying new business opportunities.
  • Attending meetings and other duties as required.
Experience:
  • Considerable knowledge of Construction.
  • Site health & safety awareness.
  • Experience with computerised systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Building Maintenance and Construction.
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance contractual requirements.
  • Proven employee management skills.
  • Minimum 5 years management/supervisory experience.
  • Implementation of performance measures and staff development through coaching.
  • Experience with implementing new initiatives.
  • Experience with bespoke maintenance/scheduling computer packages.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Ability to travel independently to other venues.
Qualifications:
  • HNC/HND in Construction or NVQ 4/5 in Construction (or working towards).
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in people management.
  • Degree-level qualification in business or construction (or relevant professional qualification).
  • CITB Site Management Safety Scheme Qualification (or working towards).
  • CSCS or similar Health and Safety Qualification.
  • Full UK or EU driving license.
