Job Description

Our client, a Real Estate Consultancy who are looking to bring on board a dynamic and driven Client Accountant to join an already established team in their central Liverpool office. You will be working on a portfolio that requires a sound understanding ofall aspects of Service Charge Accounting which requires good reporting skills (including conducting full VAT reports) and knowledge of RICS Accounting Regulations.Key responsibilities:

  • Manage / maintain all Service Charge funds for each property under remit along with the property and tenant (lease) database for all clients.
  • Must have good attention to detail to ensure the reconciliation of each client report is accurate and delivered in a timely manner as and when required.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Treasury department and advise them as necessary on carrying out rent demands, transfer or collection of monies, any amendments that need to be made and all other general maintenance of client funds.
  • You will be working on technical projects also such as system implementations/reviewing current/potential reporting tools, etc. Any experience with projects such as these will be highly beneficial.
Key person specification:
  • The ideal candidate must have experience working on Property Management systems such as Tramps, MRI or Yardi.
  • Ideally you will have a professional accountancy qualification or be currently studying
  • This role requires somebody who is very methodical and numerical, and has good attention to detail.
  • Experience working in property management accounts for other Real Estate organisations.
