Job Description

Edstaff are a leading independent supply agency based in the North West. During these testing times Edstaff are already looking ahead to when schools reopen and are actively recruiting for positions for our Client Schools.Our office remains open during the national lockdown, and we are currently operating an online registration process.We are recruiting on behalf of one of our client schools, for an experienced Teacher of Chemistry. This will be to cover a long term position starting in April 2021 for 1 term, possibly longer, on a full time basis.This is an exciting role, working alongside a strong science department with a superb reputation, in a very high achieving school in Merseyside.Experience of teaching Chemistry to ALevel would be advantageous, as well as the ability to teach Biology or Physics to KS4.If you are passionate about teaching Science, and are determined to impart knowledge, skills and understanding to all our young people, whilst engaging them in their learning, then we want to hear from you!Pay rates will vary depending on your teaching experience, ranging from £130 to £190 per day.All candidates must hold QTS or QTLS, and possess recent experience teaching the UK National Curriculum (references are required).All applicants must either hold an up to date DBS disclosure on the update service or be prepared to undertake a full enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check prior to placement.
