CaseworkerJob Type: Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-timeSalary: £21,775 per annumLocation: LiverpoolThe Legal Aid AgencyOur client is an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ). They provide civil and criminal legal aid and advice in England and Wales to help people deal with their legal problems.The companys people are at the heart of achieving excellence. Employing around 1,200 colleagues across England and Wales, they feel proud to have some of the best staff survey results in the Civil Service.The RoleThe Case Management team is at the heart of the Agency, granting legal aid applications and paying bills. Our staff ensure that each year 600,000 new clients are able to access justice, and that legal aid lawyers are fairly paid.Caseworker Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess applications for legal aid and claims for case payment.
  • Use guidance and regulations to make accurate decisions
  • Ensure your work meets performance targets.
  • Ensure all data is processed accurately and securely.
