Job Description

Job Title:Business Support ApprenticeLocation:Phoenix House, Liverpool L33 7RXWorking Week:37 hours per week, MondayFriday 9am5pmSalary:Up to £14000 per annum plus benefits & 25 days annual leaveApprenticeship Qualification:L3 Business AdministrationExpected Apprenticeship Duration:18 monthsSerco has a strong commitment to apprentices and training and as a successful Serco apprentice, you will be provided with unparalleled support throughout the duration of your programme. You will develop the skills you need for the job by working alongsideyour colleagues and getting hands on experience. You will be helped to build relationships with peers, allowing you to achieve your professional development objectives. Full training and support will be given for this roleAbout the role:This apprenticeship will provide the apprentice with the exposure to a dynamic contract environment engaging in all aspects of business and customer service. You will be expected to engage with the teams in a positive manner with a willingness to learnand deliver what they are asked to do. You will be required to take on different accountabilities during their time in the role and deliver to requested deadlines.Key accountabilities:

  • Ability to work independently, often to tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail, reliable, positive can do attitude and an ability to multitask
  • Commitment to working to targets, with ambition and a drive to be successful.
  • Confident with Microsoft packages, including Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure
  • Ability to work with a team to complete tasks
  • Any other adhoc duties required by the Manager or Company
