Business development managerEdTech / SAASLiverpool£60,000 - £80,000 plus Double OTEAspion Search are a Leading agency in the Sales and Business Development recruitment market, and we are Looking for Business Development Manager for a client that is looking at expanding their team.Our client is a market leading, technology driven and award-winning EdTech software company, based in Liverpool.As a rapidly growing e-learning company with an expanding suite of products, our client has a strong and growing global presence. With their solid blue-chip customer base spread throughout Europe, the US and Africa, and an ever-expanding portfolio of certifiede-learning solutions that covers everything from Business Process through to IT Governance, they are well placed to build upon their market-leading positions. They now have an immediate and exciting opening in Liverpool ideally, but last resort would considerremote for a skilled Business Development ManagerThe position will be responsible for providing new business leads, servicing inbound enquiries with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers.You will be responsible for managing a profile of existing clients, growing their efficiency and prospecting for new business. You will be responsible for Generating new clients, learning and understanding the clients needs and tailoring a solution to suit.You will be a team player, building on your own performance and sharing strategies and plans with your colleagues to achieve company goals and KPIs.As Business Development Manager, you will need to be a very proactive can do attitude that will generate their own leads and control end to end closing of deals. A hungry, hunter mind set is how our clients see this successful candidate, So you will needto come from a Business development role previously within the EdTech or SAAS sectors only.Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Report accurate Forecast, Pipeline and Activity data
  • Deliver on site presentations to clients
  • Attend Sales/Product training days
  • Liaise with Service Managers (Site Surveys)
  • Attend Meet the Buyers Exhibitions
  • Utilise social media, lead generation resources and network effect effectively to grow your profile
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
  • Experienced Sales experience in EdTech or SAAS in Certain.
  • You will have a proven track record for bringing in new business as well as developing existing business.
  • This is a client facing role so previous experience in a client facing environment is essential
  • Passionate & motivated about Sales and Client relationship.
  • Be competitive in nature, goal-orientated and have a high fighting spirit
