The City of Liverpool College are currently looking for bank lecturers to support on an ad hoc basis.Temporary hours are available.Bank Rate: £17.13phWe are currently looking for lecturers to support in the School of Media and Performing Arts - DanceThe School of Media and Performing Arts offers a wide range of programmes from Level 1 to Level 6 which includes the specialist areas ofMusic(performance and production), Performing Arts, Media and Journalism, In addition, the School offers Higher Education programme pathways in the specialism ofMusicPerformance,MusicProduction and Performing Arts. The School has good and established links with employers and the awarding bodies with a high level of progression opportunities to higher education and employment.We are seeking aBankMain Grade Lecturer inPerforming Arts Dance specialistto work with our existing team across our Further Education courses. The successful candidate should have a recognised teaching qualification, a degree indance(or related) and have experience of teaching across dancecourses from level 2 to level 5, across UAL and Higher National Pearson HNC/HND Dance. Specific subject areas include delivery of academic writing skills, dissertation, commercial, contemporary, urban, street and have knowledge and understanding of awarding body specifications and processes.The School aspires to achieving excellence in teaching and learning through innovative and excellent practice within an exciting and developing specialist subject area. All staff are expected to create effective and stimulating learning opportunities for all students through high-quality teaching, learning and assessment. The School requires that staff must be able to teach a range of specialist skills including the use of traditional and current relevant and current industry practices in Performing arts - dance. The staff team are dedicated and contribute to the overall success of the School of Media and Performing Arts.As abankworker, you would be expected to be aware of national developments in the subject area and to plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in order to achieve effectively management of the learning process in addition to the assessment, tracking and recording of student progress.As this is abankadvert, you may not be contacted straight away and maybe contacted within the future for ad hoc hours.
