I am working with a medium sized Accountancy Practice in Liverpool city centre who are recruiting an Audit Manager.Client DetailsMy client is a leading and highly successful firm of chartered accountants, based in Liverpool City Centre. The firm has an excellent reputation and is actually experiencing growth and positive developments over the Covid period. The managing partner is hoping to find an individual who is looking to further their career with the firm and progress within.DescriptionAs an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and being the key point of contact.These clients include a range of businesses from OMBs to large corporate companies. You will be responsible for managing the planner and corresponding the team for audit assignments.Reviewing work of the juniors and ensuring they have sufficient hands on training to understand the task at hand.You will play a key role for a Partner in developing the department, together with proposals for new work and have involvement in networking with the business communities across the region.ProfileACA/ACCA Qualified and either an audit Manager or working towardsExcellent communication and rapport building skillsAt least 5 years experience within an accountancy practice with audit associate exposure.Technically strong with a good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build strong relationships with staff and clients.An aptitude for teamwork and problem solving.Ability to work under pressure.Looking for long term career enhancement and desire to train and undertake new experiences.Job OfferCompetitive Salary - depending on experienceMultiple BenefitsSupportive firm offering further progression and development Required skills
